| You can browse our online shop and add
products to your shopping basket without registering or logging in,
however if you register or log in it will make your check out
process quicker and easier.
If you are visiting the Joseph Turner online shop for the first
time you may like to register with us by clicking the
Register button on the top right of the homepage and
following the registration steps. If you are a returning customer,
and have registered previously, then just click the Log In
button and enter your username and password.
Once registered you will not have to enter your details again so
that when shopping you can check out without having to re-type your
personal details.

| Browsing for products |
|
We have endeavoured to make browsing
for products as easy and fast as possible. There are a number of
ways you can find the item you are looking for:
- You can use the drop down menus along the top bar to go
direct to the department you want where you will be just one click
away from the actual product you are searching for.
- If you click on Online Shop at the bottom of the large
blue square to the right of the main image on the homepage, you can
browse all the departments and sub-departments by clicking on the
product image thumbnails.
- If you have a catalogue and know the 4-letter product
code of the item you require, just type this into the search
box on the right of the top bar and press Enter which will
return the product you have asked for.
- Finally, you can search for formal shirts by size, style,
colour and pattern by using our Shirt Selector which can be
found at the top right of the homepage. You may find this
particularly useful when searching for shirts in our clearance
department which are in stock in your chosen size and style.
At all times you can easily skip back a step or two by using the
"breadcrumb" trail just underneath the left hand side of the top
blue navigation bar, which shows you where you have navigated to.
The top navigation bar and drop down menus are also always
available no matter where you are in the site. |
| Adding products to your
shopping basket |

| You can add products to your shopping
basket at any time, whether or not you have registered or logged
in. Add products to your shopping basket by using the add to
basket button on each product page. Where relevant, you will
have to choose your size/style/colour options first by clicking on
Select in the first blue bar opposite the product image A
shopping basket summary is shown at all times towards the top right
of the page showing the number and total value of items in your
product basket (before any promotional discounts have been applied
or P&P added). You can change quantities or remove lines in
your shopping basket at any stage prior to checking out by going to
your Shopping Basket and using the quantity boxes or remove
button by each line. |
| Checking Out |

| As long as you have items in your
Shopping Basket you can check out at any stage by clicking on the
My Basket button at the top right of the page. If you
haven’t already done so you will be prompted to register or
log in at this stage. Next, click on the checkout icon
at the bottom of the page and follow the steps to complete your
purchase. |
| Payment |
|
| All transactions are in pounds sterling (£); the
currency selector is for indicative purposes only. We accept
payment by the following credit and debit cards: Maestro,
Visa/Delta, MasterCard and American Express. We will only
charge your credit card when items are despatched to you. All
credit card data is encrypted and held in a secure environment
– it is safer than using your credit card to shop in the high
street. |

Measuring your collar
|
|
| If you are unsure of your collar size,
ask someone you trust to measure your neck with a tape measure,
putting two fingers inside the tape to ensure a degree of comfort.
Remember that, if you are between sizes, it is better to go for the
larger size. |
| Measuring your sleeve |
|
|
If you are unsure of your sleeve length, take one of your well
fitting shirts and lay it out flat with the back facing you,
measure from the centre of the collar to the shoulder seam, along
the sleeve to the end of the cuff. Or even better, put the shirt on
and ask someone to measure you while you are wearing it. You may
find this diagram helpful:

| Sleeve shortening |
|
| If you require a shorter sleeve length
we can take care of this. Indicate on the product page the amount
of sleeve shortening required (in inches) by using the drop down
menu, and £9 will be added to the cost of the shirt. Please allow
an extra 7-14 days for delivery. Please note that the most we can
shorten sleeves by is 3 inches, and we cannot lengthen sleeves.
Also, we are unable to exchange or refund shirts which have had
their sleeves shortened unless the shirt itself is inherently
faulty. |
| Breast Pockets |
|
| Our formal classic shirts are offered
with or without a breast pocket. There is a small extra charge of
£5 per pocket. Please indicate on the product page whether or not
you'd like a pocket added by selecting the appropriate option using
the drop down menu. Our Country, Short Sleeved, Twill and Linen
shirts have breast pockets as standard, and at no extra cost. |
| Cuff Styles |
|
|
Our classic formal shirts are offered with either twin-button
adjustable "single" button cuffs or double "French" cuffs to be
worn with cufflinks. The double cuffs are adjustable for length by
approximately 1cm.
Suit Jackets &
Trouser Sizes
Available in fifteen different sizes, our suit jackets are
flatteringly cut to make you stand out from the crowd.

| We aim to despatch your products,
subject to stock, within 2 working days of receiving your order. In
quiet periods we generally despatch orders received before 12 noon
on the same day, and orders received in the afternoon by the
following day. When we are particularly busy, we may sometimes need
up to 3 working days to despatch your order. |

| Occasionally we may temporarily run
out of stock of certain sizes or styles in which case we will
endeavour to contact you as soon as possible to advise you of any
delay. |

Standard UK 1st Class
Delivery:
Standard UK delivery is charged at £4.95 per order. Please allow
two working days from the date of despatch for your order to
arrive.
Express UK Delivery:
This costs £9.95 per order. The Express Delivery service (by Royal
Mail Special Delivery guaranteed next day arrival) is available for
deliveries on Monday to Friday. Please place your order
before 1pm on Monday to Thursday in order to receive your
goods the next working day. Please note that a signature will be
required when you receive the package.
Europe (EEC):
Postage and packing is charged at £10.95 per order. Please allow
for 7 working days from the date of despatch for your order to
arrive.
Rest of World:
Postage and packing to non-EEC countries is charged at £16.95 per
order. Please allow for 7-10 working days from the date of despatch
for your order to arrive. The countries we can despatch to are
shown in the drop down menu when registering your address. |

| Your shirt is tailored with every
attention to detail, and quality checked throughout its making and
when despatched. If you are unsatisfied with any item from
Joseph Turner, simply return it by FREEPOST within 30 days
for a prompt exchange or refund (see Returns below). |
| Returns for exchange or refund |
|
| Returning goods from within the UK is
free of charge using our FREEPOST address. Items will be accepted
providing they are returned unused, in a re-saleable condition and
packaged neatly. Please return any unwanted item(s) within 30 days
of receipt for an exchange or full refund. If you do not hear from
us to the contrary, refunds will be made to the original payment
method within 14 days of the items being returned to us. Exchange
items will be despatched immediately, subject to stock. Please note
that we cannot exchange or refund shirts or other items which have
been washed or worn (unless inherently faulty) except for the
purpose of being tried on for size. Detailed return instructions
are included with the Advice Note accompanying your goods. For
international returns and exchanges, please note that you will have
to cover the cost of returning the items to our UK address. |

We recommend that you get the Certificate of Posting supplied
with your order stamped by your local post office (or the
international equivalent) as we cannot be held responsible for
items lost in transit which are being returned to us.
